art in fashion

This is a print-focused collection inspired by one of my passions, art history. The prints take inspiration from Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights, the Unswept Floor mosaic in the Vatican, and various of René Magritte's works.

Bosch's fantastical vegetation, the mosaic's unsettling dinner scrap motifs, and Magritte's wistful clouds all inspired the prints.

The color palette includes mainly blues and whites. The garments themselves focus on flow and movement. Godets are incorporated into many of the designs to aid this.
